More good news over the past month from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission! Thirsty Thursday - Bitters and the Old Fashioned
Bitters are great, they're not trying to hide who they are. You needn't ask the question, "Hey, why do they call them bitters?". One taste and you'll understand, and if you've a fairly welcoming palette (and maybe a bit of a drinking problem), you might find some beauty in knocking back a shot of the stuff. In scouring the internet, a favourite of ours has become the Bruce Wayne, which very quickly became the clear choice last night, for its inclusion of the energy inducing caffeinated ingredient you may have heard of before: coffee.
